DJ Kaira Cuvee

Kaïra Cuvée unites the heart of Melbourne’s creative scene by providing fresh, classy sounds; seamlessly blending Trap, Rap, Afrobeats, RnB and Soul. Coming from a classically trained background in dance and AMEB piano, Kaïra evolves in musical environments.

Emerging onto the scene in 2019, Kaïra has successfully collaborated with VICE and Adidas, has had multiple mixes featured on JD Sports Radio and Triple J (The Kick On + MixUp) and frequents at Melbourne’s leading events and clubs such as Watermelon Sundaes, Laundry Bar, Two Wrongs and Club Yoyo. A deep appreciation for visual art, she has DJed at galleries including the newly opened Compendium and regularly during the NGV Summer Series. Her passionate, effervescent personality shines through during sets to create harmonious, unified environments.

A member of the Operatives since 2020, Kaïra opened The Forum stage in May 2021 this year and DJ supported live artists for The Operatives ‘Square Up’.

In the past, she has booked and curated Miss Demeanour, a monthly all femme event that has progressed Hip Hop into Melbourne’s 3000 heartland and planted the seeds towards intertwining her two other creative passions;
