Kristie Mercer

Kristie Mercer has spent most of her life behind a microphone.

As a singer, nationally broadcast radio host, critically acclaimed podcast host, voice over artist, TV presenter, event emcee and writer.

Kristie cut her teeth in the radio industry from just 20. Quickly recognised for her natural ability, she shot around the country in various rating-winning breakfast radio shows (Gippsland, Albury + The Central Coast to name a few) and even picked up a few ACRA awards (Australian Commercial Radio Award i.e. the radio version of a Logie) along the way. During her radio career, Kristie has interviewed some of the world’s biggest stars including Katie Perry, Mila Kunis and Melissa McCarthy.

Kristie launched one of Australia’s first and most successful podcasts ‘The Thinkergirls’ which later became a hugely popular National radio show heard across the country with the KIIS / MIX Network. The Thinkergirls viral videos

have been seen over 5 million times, sold out National Live tours and even launched ‘The Thinkergirls Podcast Channel’ rewriting the country’s media landscape.

After asking herself ‘what makes me happy?’ Kristie returned to her first love of music and she’s quickly made headway in the industry.

After auditioning for 2019’s ‘The Voice’ Kristie was handpicked by Kelly Rowland to join her ‘Top 10’ from over 50,000 auditionees. Since then, Kristie has been one of Sydney’s busiest musicians – performing with her band and DJ-outfit across the state’s most premier venues.

But 202o sees her back in her home city of Melbourne where she is available to perform with her band, as part of an acoustic duo or with DJ’s.

Kristie is also seen weekly on Channel 7’s Sunrise as a social commentator, has been published regularly on, Cosmopolitan Magazine & even the New York Times and is also available as an event emcee.
